Don't forget this! Tonight, before going to bed, you'll need to turn your clocks ahead 1 hour, as Daylight Savings Time begins on Sunday, March 13th at 2 a.m.

Thanks to not being able to sleep well through the night, I've been awake at 2 a.m. when the clocks move forward, or backwards when Daylight Savings Time ends. It's pretty cool, but hopefully I won't see it again tonight!

The one big benefit is that we will have more hours of sunlight! With the crazy electric bills, any extra time we don't need lights is a good thing right? As a matter of fact by the end of March, sunset in Bar Harbor will be at 7 p.m.!

And while you're moving the clocks ahead, don't forget to change the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.
