On Saturday, March 23rd former MDI Trojan Lydia DaCorte earned her 2nd All-American honor, after finishing 8th in the 1650 meter freestyle event at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships  with a time of 17:00.61

The 1650 meter event is 33 lengths of the pool! DaCorte's first 1000 meter time was good enough to take down the record she set at the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) championships in February.

On Wednesday, she earned her 1st All American honor, finishing 4th in the women's 500-yard freestyle finals. She also finished 14th place in the 400 Individual Medley with a time of 4:28.05. By finishing 14th she earned All-American Honorable Mention in this event.

Lydia became the first women's swimmer in Wheaton history to earn two All-American honors
