It's 13 Days Until Thanksgiving! Time to get serious and make your shopping list and map out what you're going to be serving! While you look around the kitchen, if you're like our family, you will spy some bananas that are a bit too ripe to eat. I know you don't want to throw them away, so here's a great chocolate chip banana bread recipe!

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Butter that has been softened

1 1/2 Cups Sugar

2 Eggs

3 Large Very Ripe Mashed Bananas

1/2 Cup Milk

2 1/2 Cups Flour

1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder

1 1/2 Cups Chocolate Chips

Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 10 inch cake pan. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the eggs, one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla. Mix in the mashed bananas and milk. Combine the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Stir the flour mixture into the sugar/banana mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes until golden brown and top springs back when touched. Remove from oven and let cool before removing from the pan.

Enjoy!
