The Boston Red Sox split their double-header with the New York Mets on Saturday, July 22nd, snapping their 3-game losing streak, winning the nightcap 8-6. The Red Sox were led by Tristan Casas who was 4-6 in the doubleheader.

Friday night's baseball game between the Boston Red Sox and New York Mets at Fenway Park was suspended in the bottom of the 4th inning because of rain. The game will resume Saturday afternoon, July 22nd at 2:10 p.m. The scheduled afternoon game between the 2 clubs has been moved to Saturday night, with the pregame beginning at 6:10 p.m. and 1st pitch at 7:10 p.m.
