Carroll Drug Store in Southwest Harbor announced Sunday night that they will be delivering prescriptions free of charge to any customer on Mount Desert Island beginning on Monday, March 16th. New patients should call 207-466-6469

In his post, Eric Norberg, the pharmacist and owner said

"Carroll Drug Store will be expanding our prescription delivery services during this time. If you are a customer of Carroll Drug Store anywhere on Mount Desert Island, we will come to you with your prescription medications. If you are sick and not feeling well. If you are elderly and want to stay away from potential crowds, feel free to request a delivery. Guidance recommendations suggest that delivery be done without direct contact, so you may just get a knock on a door and a friendly wave from at least 6 feet away.

At this time we will provide this delivery service free of charge. Orders for new or refill prescriptions will need to be in by 3 p.m. for same day delivery."
