Carroll Drug Store in Southwest Harbor to Begin Administering COVID-19 Vaccinations

Starting Monday, April 19th, Carroll Drug Store in Southwest Harbor will begin administering in-store vaccination clinics on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. They will be administering the Moderna vaccine.

These vaccines are from the federal vaccine supply for rural pharmacies. Carroll Drug is asking that you sign up on-line to reserve your time. You are also asked to read, print out and fill out the Patient Acknowledgement ahead of time, to save time, prior to your scheduled appointment. Copies will be available at the pharmacy if you are unable to do this ahead of time.

The Moderna vaccines are available for Maine residents 18 and over and are 2 dose vaccines. You will need to schedule a second appointment with Carroll Drug 28 days after receiving your first dose, as this is a two-dose vaccination. Please plan to wait in the store for 15 minutes following vaccination
