Even though the lovebirds’ respective companies are battling for dominance in the fast food market, ranking second and third behind McDonald’s, it was love at first sight for the duo. According to Wendy, they met at a Fast Food Summit three years ago and have been inseparable ever since. “The first time I saw him, I could feel my heart pounding wildly in my chest,” she confessed to me over a Baconator and Chocolate Frosty. “And don’t believe him when he tells you that my first words to him were ‘Where’s the beef?’.
