Bello Bombs Allowing 6 Runs in 1st Inning as Red Sox Lose 8-2 to Orioles [PHOTOS]

The Boston Red Sox turned to Brayan Bello as a true starter against the Orioles on Thursday, June 4th and that proved to be a horrendous mistake. Bello was rocked for 6 runs in the 1st inning as the Orioles batted around.

Bello left after 5.0 innings allowing 7 hits and 8 runs, walking 3 and striking out 4. He's now 2-6 in the year. He now has a 10.35 ERA as a starter. Boston is 2-10 in the game he has pitched..

Willson Contreras was 2-4 with a home run, his 12th of the season, which leads the club. He drove in both runs.

Ceddanne Rafaela was 1-3 and Caleb Durbin was 1-4.

Tommy Kahnle made his debut for the Red Sox pitching the 8th and 9th innings, allowing 2 hits. He struck out 1 and walked 2.
