The Boston Red Sox snapped a 4-game losing streak, beating the Seattle Mariners 6-2 on Friday, June 19th in Seattle, as Ranger Suarez had a no-hitter going into the 7th inning.

Suarez pitched 6.2 innings, allowing just a double in the 7th inning. He struck out 5 and walked 3.

Marcelo Mayer who was not in the original line-up ended the night2-4 with a double and drove in 3 runs. Isiah Kiner-Falefa was a late scratch with forearm inflammation. IKF is scheduled for a MRI on Saturday.

Caleb Durbin hit a solo home run in the top of the 2nd inning, his 5th of the year, to give Boston a early lead. He finished 3-4.

Ceddanne Rafaela was 1-4 with a double.

Boston outhit Seattle 10-2. The Red Sox were 3-6 with runners in scoring position and left just 2 runners on base.

Boston is 30-43 while the Mariners are 39-38. The 2 teams will play Saturday night with the pregame starting at 9:40 p.m. on WDEA AM 1370.
