Red Sox Fall to Atlanta Braves 10-2 [VIDEO]

The Boston Red Sox lost to the Atlanta Braves 10-2 on Thursday, May 28th at Fenway Park, as former Red Sox pitcher Chris Sale was dominant on the mound for the Braves.

Sale, who was traded by the Red Sox to the Braves on December 2023 pitched 5.0 innings and allowed 6 hits and 2 runs, striking out 8 and walked 3. His record is now 8-3.

Payton Tolle started for the Red Sox and went 4.2 innings and allowed 5 hits and 2 runs and 2 walks, striking out 7.

Danny Coulombe took the loss. He didn't retire a batter and allowed 1 hit and 3 runs, walking 2. He's now 0-2.

Greg Weissert was hit hard again, pitching 1 inning and allowing 1 hit and 2 runs, walking 1.

Ronald Acuna hit a grand slam for the Braves in the 6th inning, when they scored 5 runs.

Caleb Durbin was 2-4 for Boston with a RBI double.

Isiah Kiner-Falefa was 2-2.

Jarren Duran was 1-5 with a RBI single. He's now hit safely in his last 5 games.

Willson Contreras had a single in the 5th inning to extend his season-high hitting streak to 11 games.
