Bar Harbor Fire Department Training Exercise Saturday May 2 in Town Hill

The Bar Harbor Fire Department posted a note on their Facebook page Friday afternoon, letting the public know, that there will be a live burn in Town Hill on Saturday May 2nd. The training will take place off Rt. 102, across from the Town Hill Market. Traffic through Rt. 102 should not be affected, but in case of winds we ask that you please be alert and careful.

So if you're headed to or from Southwest Harbor, or to or from Bar Harbor tomorrow, you'll know what all the smoke is, and why all the firetrucks are out!
