Bar Harbor Council to Discuss Parking and Permit Changes at Tuesday May 5th Council Meeting

The Bar Harbor Town Council will be discussing and possibly voting on changes to Parking and Permit Changes at the Tuesday, May 5th Council Meeting. The Council will meet at 4 p.m. via Zoom and the public can watch the proceedings via Spectrum Channel 1303 or by clicking HEREThe Parking Solutions Task Force is recommending the following changes

• Non-resident permit fee is reduced to $75.00 from $150.00
• The guest permit is good for 3 days, instead of 1 day
• Parking fees will be in force from May 15 through October 30th, a change from May 1st through October 31st
• Kiosk time will be able to added from any kiosk
• Paid enforced parking will be between June 1st and October 30th. (Note this was not discussed by the Parking Solutions Task Force)
