Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce Cancels Pajama Sale and Bed Races [PHOTOS]

This was always one or my highlights in November but COVID-19 has claimed more events. The Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce announced today, that the Pajama Sale and Bed Races scheduled for November 14th have been canceled for 2020.

The Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce has made the difficult decision to cancel this year's Pajama Sale & Bed Races event scheduled for November 14. Each year, the Bed Races draw a large crowd of several hundred spectators. With the current restrictions on gatherings (maximum of 100) in place, we don’t see how we could safely hold a successful event this year. We are all very disappointed to not be able to bring this wonderful event to our community this year but are confident that we have made the right decision. Let's all continue to do our part to curb the spread of the virus so we can be sure we will be able to hold this event, and all of our other events, in 2021!
