Restoration Details:Bangor Hydro crews continue to work toward restoring power to thousands of customers who are without electricity due to the winter storm moving through Maine tonight. A majority of the outages are in Washington County where wind gusts are upwards of 50 miles per hour, but the winds are causing issues across our service territory. Crews will work throughout the night to restore power, but customers should make arrangements to be without service overnight and plan accordingly.

As always, customers are reminded to never touch a downed line or a tree in contact with one, and anyone using an alternate heating source are urged to follow manufacturer guidelines to ensure proper use and safety.

Estimated Time of Service Restoration:Crews will work to restore service as quickly as possible, but continued strong winds and difficult weather and travel conditions may delay restoration times.
