Bagley Promoted to Replace Thornton at Hancock County Sheriff’s Department
Hancock County Deputy Corey Bagley who has been a member of the Hancock County Sheriff's Department since 1992 has been promoted to lieutenant earlier this week. He will replace Chris Thornton who has been assigned to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency as a Supervisor.
Bagley was previously assigned to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency before returning to the Sheriff's Office in 2016.
Also promoted this week was Deputy Franklin Jennings, who is now a Detective. He replaces Ben Astbury who had resigned earlier.
