Backpack Fundraiser Postponed from March 15 to May 17

The Backpack Fundraiser that was scheduled for this Sunday, March 15th at Jack Russell's in Bar Harbor has been postponed until Sunday, May 17th (tentative date)

The MDI Backpack Program has been in existence since 2015 and is a collaboration of local churches, the Bar Harbor Rotary Club and the Bar Harbor Food Pantry.

The MDI Backpack Program helps alleviate student's hunger by sending them home on Fridays with palatable, shelf-stable, nutritious, easily-prepared food. It runs strictly on in-kind food donations, charitable donations and volunteers.
