August 18 – Mail Order Catalog Day

How many catalogs do you receive? The mailman must have a hernia with all the catalogs we receive.

Honestly, we receive so many catalogs we just put them in a basket in living room and only occasionally will we look at them.

When I was little, I would wait for the Sears Christmas catalog. That catalog was always a couple of inches thick, and I would always go straight to the toy section. I'd look at all the toys and circle the ones I would hope Santa would bring me! That catalog got a lot of use! The pages would be dog eared.
