
Area Animal Shelter Looking For Volunteers To Read To Shy Dogs
Hook Fido on phonics. An area animal shelter needs folks to read to dogs.
Last month, the Arc Animal Shelter in Cherryfield took in some dogs that are shy and timid. In an effort to help calm these skittish pups, the shelter is looking for volunteers to sit with them, read to them, and talk to them. Anyone interested can simply stop by the shelter during business hours.
Arc Animal Shelter Hours:
- Tuesday & Saturday: 12:00PM - 6:00PM
- Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday: 12:00PM - 4:00PM
The Arc Animal Shelter is located at 60 Barber Ln, in Cherryfield. For info call 546-3484.
