It's Tuesday, April 14th and the sun is shining after a day yesterday, where we had well over a inch of rain, and the wind blew and blew and blew!  It's a perfect day to celebrate National Gardening Day!

I haven't had a garden in a couple of years but 2020 is going to be the year. I'm already planning it in my head. I'm going to have tomatoes, a couple of different varieties including cherry tomatoes. Nothing beats eating tomatoes that have just been picked!

I'm also going to plant some green beans and snow peas. They're easy to do, and I know that I've been successful with them in the past.

If you don't want to grow your own vegetables, you can search the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association's website to find growers near you.
