Accuweather Issues Tsunami Warning Test For Bar Harbor Tuesday Morning

If you have the Accuweather app on your smartphone you may have been a little alarmed to see a tsunami warning for Bar Harbor pop up on your phone this morning.

However when you clicked on the alert, you were notified it was only for test purposes. It was sent out to determine transmission times in the event there was an actual tsunami warning.

The National Weather Service has weighed in, reiterating there is no tsunami warning for Bar Harbor.
