Acadians Beat League City Texas in their Final Game of the American Legion World Series 4-2
The Trenton Acadians closed out pool play on Sunday, August 13th winning their final game at the Senior Legion World Series in Shelby, North Carolina. The Acadians beat League City Texas 4-2.
Hunter Curtis pitched a complete game for the Acadians, picking up the win. Curtis allowed just 5 hits and 2 runs, 1 of which was earned. He struck out 4 and didn't walk a batter.
Curtis helped himself at the plate, going 2-3 from the leadoff spot. He drove in a pair of runs.
Colin Sullivan had a double, and drove in a run.
Wyatt Bragdon had the Acadians' other hit.
Trenton completed pool play 1-3, and concluded their magical 2023 season!
