Acadia Night Sky Festival September 20-24th

The end of Acadia's busy season wraps up with an annual eye to the sky event.

A well attended annual event is back this month with tons of activities and events for all ages and many interests. From photography to painting, kayaking to hiking, and so much more. There will also be numerous key-note speakers with a variety of interesting specialties.

Many of these events may change with weather. Organizers of the event suggest leaving pets at home for night events. Bringing a flashlight that is not too bright like one that has a red beam instead of white. Dress warm, it gets chilly at night and especially on the coast. OF course, don't forget your camera!
