Acadia National Park’s Park Loop Road and Carriage Roads Re-Open April 15
Acadia National Park has announced that the Park Loop Road and Carriage Roads will re-open on Monday, April 15th.
Automobiles will be allowed on the Park Look Road and walkers/hikers/joggers will be allowed on the Carriage Roads
Due to icy conditions, Cadillac Summit Road will remain closed to motor vehicles.
The Thompson Island Picnic Area will also reopen on Monday April 15th.
The Hulls Cove Visitor Center will reopen on Friday, May 3rd. Until then Visitor Services are at the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce Office at the corner of Cottage and Main Street in Bar Harbor.

- Jordan Pond House Restaurant - May 17th
- Thunder Hole Gift Shop - May 3rd
- Wildwood Stables Equestrian Services and Campground - May 29th
A reminder that park passes are required for all visitors to Acadia National Park including Thompson Island.
