Acadia National Park’s 2020 Entrance Pass Photo Chosen

The National Park Service has picked the winning photograph for the Acadia National Park's 2020 annual entrance pass contest. The photo was submitted by Mark Walker of Smyrna, Georgia.

Walker's photo is of the Bass Harbor Head Light Station. According to the press release, "Although this light station is not currently a part of Acadia National Park, there are plans for this United States Coast Guard property to be transferred to the National Park Service sometime this Spring."

The winning photograph, will appear on thousands of park passes sold this year.

Walker won a 2020 Acadia Annual Pass displaying his winning photo.

Park passes with the new photo will be available beginning May 1, 2020
