Now that the Acadia National Park staff have returned after the government closure, Acadia National Park staff will close part of the Park Loop Roadto all uses,  beginning November 17th.

The closure is necessary to  accommodate critical culvert replacements between Cadillac Summit Road and the start of the one-way section of the Park Loop Road.

The Cadillac Summit Road may be accessed from the south at Jordan Pond.

The National Park Service expects the road to reopen on or about November 22.
