Acadia National Park Closes Park Loop Road Friday Morning November 1[UPDATE]
Friday afternoon update - The Park Loop Road has reopened although the Blackwoods Campground remains closed.
Because of the storm and the associated high winds and trees down, Acadia National Park officials have announced that the Park Loop Road is closed on Friday morning, November 1st, until further notice.
In addition, the Blackwoods Campground will remain closed until further notice.
A High Wind Warning remains in effect until 6PM Friday night
