Abbe Museum’s Newest Exhibit – wolankeyutomun: Take Care of Everything [VIDEO]

The Abbe Museum's newest exhibit - wolankeyutomun: Take Care of Everything opens on Thursday, March 21st.  This exhibit, a collaboration with Maritime Indigenous Artists, Inc., explores the protection of waters sacred to the Wabanaki and the conservation of sea-life living in those waters.

The exhibit features original artwork created by Indigenous artists living in the New England region of the United States and the Canadian Maritimes.

The Abbe is open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays 10 AM to 4 PM through April. There is no admission fees through the end of April thanks to a grant from Machias Savings Bank
