Durlin Lunt the Town Manager of Mount Desert posted the following on the Town of Mount Desert's Facebook Page

"Ask yourself, "Do I really need this?"

Practice common sense. Think before you act.

We are all in this together and your actions affect the larger community. Help flatten the curve.

With strength, courage, compassion, kindness and a lot of old fashioned Yankee common sense we will emerge from this as a stronger and more caring community. Take a few moments to be thankful for the blessings of friends, family, pets during this difficult time.

We are all in this together. Let’s do our part so we all come through this together"
