4-Year-Old Boy Seriously Hurt In Hancock Crash
Police say a young boy suffered life threatening injuries Wednesday morning in a crash on Route 1 in Hancock.
WABI reported that the 4-year-old boy was flown to the hospital following the two-vehicle wreck in front of Hancock Grocery.
Two adults were also in the car that the boy was riding in. Police said they were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Hancock Volunteer Fire Chief Chris Holmes told The Ellsworth American that it appears the crash occurred when a car pulled out of the grocery store, into the path of a northbound SUV.
Police did not immediately release the names of the people involved in the accident, which remains under investigation.
