3rd Annual Mount Desert Nursing Association Chowdah Fest a Rousing Success [PHOTOS]

The Neighborhood House in Northeast Harbor was filled to capacity on Monday, March 31st for the 3rd Annual Mount Desert Nursing Association's Chowdah Fest and Silent Auction.

The Mount Desert Nursing Association is celebrating their 76th  year of providing home health care for the people of Mount Desert Island, Trenton and Lamoine.

Guests were able to sample and then some 13 delicious chowders that ran the gamut from a pumpkin chowder to a curry chowder, with lots of corn chowders and even some traditional chowders!

There was fantastic music and a multitude of items to bid on in the silent auction. Guests were able to vote for their favorite chowder.

In the end, both the Judge's Award and People's Choice Award were given to Lunch from Bar Harbor. Both decisions were very close!
