Ruby The Cow Cat Is Our SPCA Pet of the Week
Ruby is a very sweet adult cat who is about five years old and currently resides at the SPCA of Hancock County on the Bar Harbor Road in Trenton. She is a white and black “cow cat”, who was brought to the shelter from the Georgia transfer, in which numerous animals came to Maine to be adopted.
Ruby is very laid back, she does however not like to be “manhandled”, so to speak. So you better be ready to accept loving and attention on her terms. She thoroughly enjoys her crunchy treats and will eat as many as you're willing to offer! So then, let's talk about Ruby's weight, even though she doesn't want us to. Ruby is a health 12 pounds of love and cuddles, and because she resides in a cage and doesn't get a whole lot of exercise at the SPCA, she is on weight loss food.
Ruby gets along with dogs and other cats as far as far as the staff there knows, but they think she would prefer a quiet home without any distractions from her loving on her new family.
Ruby loves her Santa bed, so much, that when we take it out to clean it she will not use the replacement! She is a total and complete couch potato ready to unleash the full extent of her lazy, laid-back personality in her new home.
