2018 Bar Harbor Cruise Season Starts April 19th [UPDATE]

Well, it was supposed to start today, April 19th, but we have just heard from the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce that the Fram experienced mechanical issues at a previous port and will not arrive today, April 19th

Ready or not the 2018 Bar Harbor Cruise Ship Season will begin on Thursday, April 19th. The Fram will arrive Thursday, April 19th and stay overnight, departing on Friday, April 20th.

All together, 31 ships will make 181 scheduled trips to Bar Harbor, with the last one arriving on November 7th.

4 ships are scheduled to make their maiden voyages to Bar Harbor this season. The Adventure of the Seas will arrive Monday, June 4th. The AIDAvita will arrive on Monday, June 18th. The Star Pride will arrive on Wednesday, September 6th and The Silver Spirit will arrive on Friday, September 28th

In addition to the ship arriving on April 19th, Bar Harbor is expecting arrivals on April 29th and 30th. There is then a little lull until May 11th.
