1st Sunrise in USA Is Always in Maine But NOT Always on Cadillac Mountain

Did you know that the 1st Sunrise in the United States is ALWAYS in Maine, but it's NOT always on Cadillac Mountain? I didn't know, until Gary Allen sent me this from the US National Weather Service in Caribou!

January, February, October, November and December first light hits Acadia Park's Cadillac Mountain. April though mid-September first light is in Mars Hill in Aroostook County. For March and the end of September and early October sunrise is first at West Quoddy Head in Lubec!
