The Trenton Acadians Senior Legion team beat the New Hampshire Senior Legion Champions, Coffey Post #3, 3-1, Wednesday morning, August 2nd in the opening game of the Northeast Regional Tournament at Fitton Field in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Craig Burnett started on the mound for the Acadians, and went 4.1 innings, allowing 4 hits and 1 run. He struck out 1 and walked 4. Peter Keblinsky, who turned 18 today, celebrated by pitching the final 2.2 innings, allowing 2 hits and no runs.

Keblinsky who played shortstop before coming on in relief, helped himself at the plate going 2-3, with a double and scored twice.

Colin Sullivan was 2-3, driving in 2 runs.

Brett Bragdon, the workhorse catcher was 1-3 with a double.

Miles Palmer, Craig Burnett, David Baugh and Wyatt Bragdon each had a single.

Peter Keblinsky also swiped a base.

The Acadians will play the winner of the Connecticut  and Massachusetts Champions, on Thursday afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
