Power Outage

5:05 PM UPDATE - 3666 Emera Maine Customers are without power. Emera Maine crews are making repairs on electrical circuits with the largest number of customer outages as heavy, wet snow and winds interrupted service. Although damage is still being assessed, 90% of affected customers should be reconnected by 10 p.m. tonight and crews will continue working through the night to restore service to all.

3829 Emera Maine customers remain without power on Sunday, November 3rd at 11AM. Of those, 1021 were in Hancock County and 1479 in Penobscot County. Here's the list where linecrews are working

6518 Emera Maine customers remain without power as of Sunday morning, November 3rd at 8AM from the devastating windstorm that occurred on Halloween night and into November 1st.

As of 5PM on Saturday, November 2nd there were 16,133 Emera Maine customers still without power from the wind storm on Halloween/November 1st. They also released a list of streets where power is expected to be restored by 10PM Saturday. Those not on the list should be prepared to be without power overnight. They expect to have nearly everyone restored by Sunday night

After a peak of more than 58,000 outages at the height of Friday's storm, more than 50% of Emera Maine's customers without power have been restored. As of 11:15 on Saturday, November 2nd there were 23,174 customers without power.

Emera Maine crews continue to make progress in bringing customers back online, but there are 24,025 customers without power as of 7:15 AM on Saturday, November 2nd.

Emera Maine's line crews have restored power to 24,000 customers since 4:45PM, however there are still 31,592 customers without power as of 10:30 PM on Friday, November 1st.

Emera Maine's line crews are fighting an uphill battle on Friday afternoon, trying to bring customers back online, but new damage to transmission lines are occurring throughout the service territory. As of 4:45 PM on Friday there were 55,606 customers without power.

The good news is that the winds seem to be abating somewhat as of 12:30 on Friday, November 1st, although the High Wind Warning remains in effect through 6 PM tonight for Coastal and Interior Hancock and Washington Counties. The bad news is that there are 53,261 Emera Maine customers without power.

Emera Maine linecrews are out working hard to restore power after the windstorm on Thursday, October 17th. As of 4 PM on Friday October 18th Emera Maine linecrew had almost halved the list of those without power as of 12 Noon. There are now 5,606 customers without power, with the vast majority in Hancock and Washington Counties.
