Sox-Rays Preview April 21

The Boston Red Sox make their first visit to Tropicana Field to take on the Tampa Bays Rays Tuesday night, in the first game of a 3 game series with the first pitch at 7:10 and pregame begining at 6:25 on AM 1370 WDEA.

The Red Sox come into the game in first place with a 8-5 record, 1 game ahead of Baltimore at 7-6. The Yankees, Rays and Blue Jays are all 2 games back with a 6-7 record.

The Red Sox will send lefty Wade Miley to the mound. Miley is 0-1 with a 10.57 ERA. The Red Sox batters will face right hander Chris Archer, who is 2-1 with a 1.37 ERA this year.

The Red Sox starting lineup sees Brock Holt playing shortstop giving Xander Bogaerts a night off, and Daniel Nava is at first base, replacing Mike Napoli to start things off.
