Former MDI Trojan Kelsey Shaw was named to the NE-10 All-Rookie Team on Friday, February 24, 2017.

Shaw playing for the Stonehill Skyhawks averaged 28 minutes per game, starting 14 games and appearing in all 25 games. She averaged 7.7 points per game, 4.1 rebounds per game and 1.9 assists per game.

Shaw was a unanimous selection to the All-Rookie Team, selected by all 15 NE-10 Coaches.

Stonehill will be playing in their record setting 36th consecutive Northeast 10 Tournament. They play in the opening round Friday, February 24th at 7 PM.  Stonehill the #4 seed will host #5 Southern Connecticut State University. The game will also be webcast live via stonehillskyhawks.tv with Charlie Bergeron and Brian Buckley calling the action, which will also be simulcast on Facebook Live .
