Road Construction in Bar Harbor Week Ending April 1st

Road construction continues in Bar Harbor. Here's what is planned for the week ending Saturday, April 1st.

The contractor will continue placing the water line from Sand Point Point Road towards the Old Bar Harbor Road.

The utility companies will continue with the utility pole work from the entrance of Acadia National Park to Duck Brook and from the Old Bar Harbor Road towards Baymeath Road. This includes setting new poles and running wires.

Some traffic signal work may take place at the Intersection of the Eagle Lake Road and Route 3. They will also continue working in Somesville at the Intersection of Routes 102, 198 and 3.

All scheduling is weather dependent and subject to change.
