Make it 6 in a row for the Boston Red Sox, and number 6 was especially sweet, as the Red Sox defeated the New York Yankees 10-6 on Wednesday March 11th in Spring Training action.

The Red Sox pounded out 18 hits, led by Travis Shaw who was playing 1B for the Sox. Shaw had a home run and double and drove in 3 runs.  Mookie Betts, envisioned as the lead-off hitter for the Red Sox in the 2015 season, went 3-4. Joe Kelly allowed 2 runs and 3 hits over 3 innings, in his 2nd start for the Red Sox.

Alex Rodriguez hit a home run for the Yankees off Brandon Workman. Former Red Sox players Jacoby Ellsbury and Carlos Beltran had RBI's off of Kelly.
