Police Urge Caution While Driving This Morning
We're getting multiple reports from police and listeners about accidents this morning. Motorists are urged to use caution and drive appropriately for the road conditions.
Hancock County Sheriff's deputies, this morning, were called to a head-on collision on Thompson's Island in Trenton. It was a low-speed crash, so there were no serious injuries, but could have been worse if the drivers were going faster.
Sources have told us the Interstate is very slippery, with many vehicles off the road. Traffic is reportedly shut down around mile marker 173 due to a multi-vehicle crash. We've also heard of an accident in Brewer on South Main Street, near the I-395 off-ramps.
Slow down this morning, leave plenty of space between you and the vehicle in front of you, and pay attention. The storm is supposed to clear out late morning/early afternoon, so be careful until it's done!
