Mother Nature is pulling a nasty trick on Hancock County residents this Halloween, as there were 12,412 Versant Energy customers without power as of 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 31.

The combination of the heavy winds, rain, and trees still with leaves have caused trees to topple, blocking roads and taking down power lines.

Versant Power's linecrews are out working and they have called in additional crews to help restore power as safely and quickly as possible.

Please remember that if you come across a downed power line to steer clear of it. No line is safe to touch...Ever!
Customers may report outages via Versant's website or by calling their Customer Contact Center at (207) 973-2000.
