The Maine Maritime Academy Men's Basketball Team fell to the Fisher Falcons 85-80 at Smith Gymnasium in Castine on Friday night, November 17th. MMA led 40-39 at the end of the 1st Half.

Maine Maritime Academy had 4 players in double-figures. Josiah Dancy led all scorers with a game-high 26 points. Markus Ramirez had 14 points, Curt Heinz had 13 points and Isaiah Oquendo finished with 11 points.

Curt Heinz owned the boards Friday night, finishing with an amazing 21 rebounds, 18 of them defensive rebounds to finish the night with a double-double.

MMA shot 39.5 percent from the field going 32-81. They were 11-36 from beyond the 3-point arc and were 5-11 from the free throw line.

Fisher was led by Jalen Anderson with 19 points. Cross Bandy had 17 points. Joel Finney finished with 15 points. Dakota Gillespie had a double-double, finishing the night with 15 points and 15 rebounds.

The Falcons were 25-70 from the field, shooting 35.7 percent. They were 6-16 from beyond the 3-point arc. They took nearly 4 times as many foul shots as Maine Maritime Academy, going 29-41.

Maine Maritime Academy will host the Bowdoin Polar Bears on Sunday, November 19th at 2 p.m.
