The Maine Maritime Academy Women's Basketball Team fell to Bowdoin 57-47 in Castine on Tuesday, November 14th.  Bowdoin led 14-10 at the end of the 1st Quarter and 29-19 at the Half. The Polar Bears led 45-30 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Evelyn Dagan led the Mariners with 10 points. Erianna Moore had 8 points.

The Mariners were 16-45 from the field. MMA was 5-18 from beyond the 3-point arc. They were 10-16 from the free throw line.

Bowdoin was led by Megan Tan with a game-high 17 points. Jess Giorgio had 13 points

The Polar Bears were 26-61 from the field. They were 3-15 from beyond the 3-point arc and were just 2-12 from the free throw line.

Both teams had 35 rebounds.

Bowdoin is coached by former MDI Trojan Megan Phelps.

Bowdoin is 2-0 and Maine Maritime Academy is 2-1.  MMA is 2-1 on the season. They travel down to Williamstown, Massachusetts to play in the Williams Invitational. They will play at Williams College on Saturday, November 18th at 6 p.m. and then play either Rhode Island College or William Patterson University on Sunday, November 19th at either 1 or 3 p.m.
