Ellsworth voters will want to circle their calendars so they can attend either in person, or virtually the City Council Meet the Candidates Forum Tuesday, October 17th from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Grand Theater in Downtown Ellsworth.

The 7 candidates running for the Ellsworth City Council are Marc Blanchette, John Linnehan, Patrick Lyons, Ruth Moore, Noah Robidau, Nancy Smith and incumbent Gene Lyons.

Cyndi Wood, the Managing Editor of The Ellsworth American will be the moderator. Questions may be submitted in advance via email to news@ellsworthamerican.com

For those unable to attend in person, the candidate forum will be live-streamed on the City of Ellsworth You Tube Channel or on the Heart of Ellsworth You Tube Channel

Voters will elect 2 of the 7 candidates to the City Council for a 3-year term.

Ellsworth voters may begin applying for absentee ballots anytime City Hall is open, by going to the City Clerk's Office , or online by visiting the City of Ellsworth's website, Voters can also call the City Clerk's office at 669-6625. Absentee ballots will be mailed out the middle of October.
