MDI Volleyball Sweeps Bucksport

The MDI Volleyball Team remained undefeated, defeating Bucksport, at Bucksport on Tuesday, September 13th 3-0. The individual game scores were 25-9, 25-19 and 25-22.

MDI got off to a strong start against Bucksport last night on the way to a 3-0 victory, but we let our guard down in the second and third sets. After a strong hitting performace coupled with tough serving in the first set, the team relaxed a little and allowed Bucksport back into the match. We made some transition and communication errors, but when we needed to score some points we did. Attitudes stayed positive and the team worked together to get out of a ham. But we still have work to do as we prepare for Washington Academy on Friday.

Bucksport is now 1-2 and plays host to Ellsworth on Tuesday, September 20th at 5:30 PM
