MDI Golf Loses 1st Match

The MDI Golf Team lost their 1st match of the season, finishing 2nd in a 3 way match in Blue Hill at the Blue Hill Country Club. George Stevens Academy finished 1st with a score of 138, MDI had a score of 141 and Dexter finished with a score of 199. The Blue Hill Country Club played as a par 30.

Percy Zentz from GSA was the medalist with a score of 30.

MDI is now 11-1 on the season.

On Saturday, September 17th the MDI Golf Team was one of 14 teams participating in an 18 hole exhibition at Penobscot Valley Country Club in Orono. MDI placed 3rd with a score of 352. Cape Elizabeth finished 1st with a 314 and Mattanawcook Academcy placed 2nd with a team score of 339.

Riley Swanson placed 4th with a score of 82 out of approximately 70 golfers.
