MDI Girl’s Tennis Upsets Old Town 3-2

It may not have been an upset had the MDI Girl's Tennis Team been at full strength, but given the fact that they were without their 3rd singles player who was recovering from a concussion and others who were still away during the April vacation, the MDI Girl's Tennis Team started the match against Old Town 0-2 on Saturday, April 23rd.

MDI was forced to forfeit the 2nd Doubles game and the 3rd Singles game. The undermanned MDI Girl's Tennis Team ended up beating Old Town 3-2!

In 1st Doubles Delaney Smith and Izzy Wellman-Webster won 8-4. India Janes playing 1st Singles won 8-3 and Molly Corson playing 2nd Singles won 8-0.

The MDI Girl's Tennis Team will play the John Bapst Crusaders Monday, April 25th in Bangor at 4 PM.
