According to Coach May Dow

The game was full of energy and I thought the girls did a great job fighting back from being down 3-0 before halftime.  We came out strong and carried the momentum throughout the second half where we held John Bapst scoreless in the second half. We made adjustments at halftime and I thought we did a better job shutting down their combination passes in the second half. Both teams played hard and played to the very end of the game.

MDI's Cassia Barnes made 11 saves on 15 shots while John Bapst's goalie Kayla Massey stopped 13 of 16 shots.

MDI is now 2-7 and plays at Washington Academy on Tuesday, October 4th at 4 PM.

John Bapst is 7-1 and plays host to Old Town on Thursday, September 29th at 4 PM.

In the JV Game, MDI beat John Bapst 2-1. Rachel Leonard scored off of a Rachelle Swanson assist and an there was an own goal by John Bapst. Hannah Goodwin made 10 saves on 18 shots for the Trojans.
