The MDI Trojans played host to the Belfast Lions on a beautiful night in Bar Harbor, but the end wasn't as nice as the night for the Trojans, as Belfast won 36-14.

MDI got on the scoreboard first, when Jalique Keene scored on a 52 yard run with 6:39 remaining in the 1st half. Taner Bickford ran in for the 2 point conversion, and MDI was up 8-0.

MDI kicked off, and Stephen Davis fielded the return. It looked like MDI had Davis bottled up, but Davis broke free, and ran the kickoff return back 85 yards to put Belfast on the board. The 2 point conversion was no good, and with 6:23 left in the half, MDI was up 8-6.

MDI went on a long drive, but fumbled the ball deep in Belfast territory with under a minute left in the half, and Belfast took over with less than 40 seconds  remaining. Davis took the ball again, and again, he broke through after looking like he was stopped, and ran 83 yards for the Belfast touchdown with 25 seconds left in the half. The 2 point conversion was no good, and Belfast was up 12-8 at the half.

Belfast would score again with 4:39 left in the 3rd Quarter. Alex Canning scored on a 52 yard run, and when the 2 point conversion was good, Belfast led 20-8.

MDI would answer, 1:01 later, when Jalique Keene scored his 5th touchdown of the season, scoring on a 14 yard run. The 2 point conversion was no good, and Belfast was up 20-14.

Belfast scored twice in the 4th Quarter to put the game away. Davis scored his 3rd touchdown of the game, oin a 4 yard run with 8:42 left in the game. The Lions converted the 2 point conversion and it was 28-14. With 7:07 left, Canning scored his 2nd touchdown, on a 11 yard run. The 2 point conversion was good, and Belfast won 36-14

MDI has 19 first downs while Belfast had 7. MDI had 363 total yards gained, while Belfast had 297. MDI had 320 rushing yards while Belfast had 294.
