MDI Defeats Kennebunk 3-1

The MDI Volleyball Team rebounded from their first loss of the season on Friday, September 26th against Biddeford 3-1 to come back and defeat Kennebunk 3-1 on Saturday, September 27th in a game played in Kennebunk. The individual game scores were 25-16, 26-24, 25-18, 25-15.

Let's hear from Coach Corey

MDI rebounded after a tough loss to Biddeford to beat Kennebunk on Saturday.  We were able to get everyone in and work on some team dynamics in cruising to a 3-1 win.  Kennebunk played good defense and gave us lots of opportunities in transition.  We still have a lot to work on and this weekend helped clarify some of those things.  We'll be working hard the next few weeks on upping the intensity and level of play throughout practice and the games we have remaining on our schedule.

With the victory, MDI is now 8-1 on the season, and in 2nd place in the Heal Points. The Trojans next match is at Bucksport on Wednesday, October 1st at 5 PM. Bucksport is currently 4-4 and plays host to Narraguagus on Monday, September 29th before hosting MDI.
